What maintenance is required for the main Bay & Engraver to ensure longevity and performance?
Warning!
Disconnect the engraver from power before cleaning.
Cleaning Frequency: daily after each use
What you are engraving will determine the frequency at which you must clean your laser engraving machine. However, we suggest cleaning your device after each use for the best results.
Tools Needed:
- Paper towel
- Window cleaner
Viewing Window:
Clean with mild cleansers and a lens or cotton cloth. DO NOT use paper towels, as they can scratch the acrylic and reduce the cover's ability to protect you from laser radiation.
Main Bay Interior:
Clean thoroughly with paper towels and window cleaner, removing any debris particles or deposits.
Main Bay Sides:
Step 1: Turn off and unplug the engraver.
Step 2: Unplug the left panel’s LED light.
Step 3: Unplug the right panel’s LED light, the induction switch, and the key line.
Step 4: Remove the front and rear screws and remove the panels.
Step 5: Clean the sides with paper towels and window cleaner.
Step 6: Replace the screws and then restore the electrical connections.
