1. Press the test button on the laser power supply.

2. Check the status of the laser tube and the ammeter.

• If the laser beam still appears purplish inside the laser tube and the ammeter reads 8 mA, the laser tube is faulty. Replace it with a new, identical one. 
• If the laser appears normal in color, the power of the engraver might have weakened. Troubleshoot per Weakened laser tube power>>.
