Compressed/stretched pattern
- Import the machine para (refer to the video).
- If it fails, draw a 100×100mm square in the laser software.
- Set the engraver to cutting mode, power to 30%, and speed to 50mm/s.
- Fire the laser.
- Check if the cut pattern is of the same size as the original pattern.
- If there is a deviation, set the step distance using the software (as shown).
- If there is no deviation, set the machine to scanning mode, the speed to 200mm/s, and scan at the same position.
- Check whether the processed pattern is the same size as the original pattern.
- If the pattern is stretched along the X-axis, access "Scanning Offset Adjust" and adjust as needed. For details, refer to How to adjust scanning offset>>.
- If the pattern has irregularities along the Y-axis, check the tension of the Y-axis belt.
- Manually move the Y-axis gantry along the X-axis to see whether it moves smoothly. If not, lubricate the guide rails.
- Swap all the plugs on the X-axis drive with those on the Y-axis.
- Draw a 100×100mm square in the laser software.
- Set the engraver to cutting mode, power to 30%, and speed to 50mm/s.
- Fire the laser.
- Check whether the cut pattern is of the same size as the original pattern.
- If the irregularity occurs along the X-axis, replace the Y-axis drive unit with a new, identical one.
- If the irregularity is still along the Y-axis, replace the Y-axis motor with a new, identical one.
