Unrecognizable camera
1. Make sure you are using the data cable that came with the engraver.
2. Check the camera's indicator lights, which will glow red during normal operation.
If neither light is glowing red, check the wiring of the camera adapter board (as shown) and re-plug the camera. If re-plugging has failed, replace the camera adapter board and the camera with new, identical ones.
If either is glowing red.
- Boot up RDWorks, enable the camera, and check the camera's indicator light status.
- If you are using a MacBook, use the system’s default camera software to control the engraver's camera and thus confirm whether the camera is working properly.
- If the camera is still not working, replace your data cable with one shorter than 1.5m (Use a different computer to test if available).
- If all above fails, replace the camera adapter board and the camera with new, identical ones.
- If both indicator lights are glowing red and the software cannot be previewed in the software, we recommend that you use RDWorks to try previewing again. Or, you can retry previewing through your computer’s default camera software.
