Engraver no longer emits laser beam
If the engraver no longer emits laser, go check that the power setting is 20% or more and that the ammeter on the back of the engraver has been set to the maximum value, and then do the test again.
If the engraver still won’t fire the laser, follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
- Check the status of the laser power supply LCD.
- Check whether there is a water drop icon with an "×" located a little before where the normal water drop icon is. (as shown)
If there is, remove the bottom panel.
- Check whether the short wire on the power supply is connected (as shown). If the short wire is normal, replace the laser power supply with a new, identical one.
If there is no water drop icon with an "×",
- Move the laser head to the lower left corner of the workbed.
- Place a sacrificial layer under the layer head. This will make sure the test is safe.
- Press the test button on the laser power supply.
- Check the status of the laser tube and the LCD.
