Both built-in exhaust fan and air pump not working
The engraver's exhaust fan and air pump will only start running when they are needed for engraving. They normally do not work on standby. Because of this, you will need to set the engraver to normal engraving and then check the status of the fan or pump.
- Open the cover and place two magnets on the door position sensor. Mind that this procedure defeats the safety interlock that stops the laser beam when the cover is opened. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU ARE USING IT TO DEBUG THE MALFUNCTIONING FAN AND/OR PUMP
- Set the dip switch on the upper left corner of the engraver table to rotary axis mode.
- Move the gantry to a position suitable for observation and measurement.
- Draw a circle with a diameter of 50mm in the engraving software, select cut for mode, set the power to 1%, set the speed to 3mm/s, and click to start processing. Rest assured that the laser tube will not emit laser beams with these settings and the will be no radiating laser beams after you open the cover.
- Check the status of the air pump and/or exhaust fan. Because the engraver's air pump and exhaust fan use the same control signals and power supply lines, it will be easy to tell which is malfunctioning or whether both are malfunctioning.
- Remove the power cover of the engraver (see video).
7. check the status of the relay indicator light. Normally, the relay indicator light glows green during
standby and red when engraving (as shown).

- Control relay indicator light glowing green normally but not glowing red when engraving>>
