Follow the normal protocols to fire the laser and listen carefully for the buzzing sound of the laser source.

• If no sound can be heard, troubleshoot as per Laser source not energized(Split Fiber Laser Marker)>>
• If the fan and the laser are up and running,

1. Initiate the software to make a mark.
2. As this happens, move the Galvo head up and down with the handwheel.
3. Check whether the laser is firing or not.

If no mark has formed, 

1. Remove the panel on the control unit.
2. Measure the input and output voltage of the laser source. The normal reading is 24V.

• If the voltage measures normal, the problem lies in the laser source. Replace it with a new, identical one.
• If the voltage measures different, replace the power supply of the laser source.
