No laser emission (Split Fiber Laser Marker)
Follow the normal protocols to fire the laser and listen carefully for the buzzing sound of the laser source.
- If no sound can be heard, troubleshoot as per Laser source not energized(Split Fiber Laser Marker)>>
- If the fan and the laser are up and running,
- Initiate the software to make a mark.
- As this happens, move the Galvo head up and down with the handwheel.
- Check whether the laser is firing or not.
If no mark has formed,
- Remove the panel on the control unit.
- Measure the input and output voltage of the laser source. The normal reading is 24V.
- If the voltage measures normal, the problem lies in the laser source. Replace it with a new, identical one.
- If the voltage measures different, replace the power supply of the laser source.
