Disconnect the engraver from power before checking the belts and tracks.

To check the tension on the belts:

Step 1: Disconnect the engraver from power.

Step 2: Lift one side of the machine slightly.

Step 3: Check that the X-axis gantry is slowly moving towards the lower side.

Step 4: If it moves too quickly, tighten the belts until the gantry slows.

Step 5: If the gantry fails to move at all, loosen the belts until it moves slowly but smoothly.
