Water protection failure
- Open RDWorks.
- Access “Vendor param” and check that “Water Protect” is ticked (as shown).
If the box is ticked, unplug the line to the WP port on the laser control terminal.
- If the laser becomes erratic and the control panel displays "water error” or “cooler error”, the water protection sensor is short-circuited or the water protection system has a wiring problem; Replace the faulty one with a new, identical one as needed.
- If the laser still fires normally with the line to the WP port removed and the control panel displays no error code, then the mainboard is faulty. Replace with a new, identical one.
